Aaliyah's career was tremendously successful but cut short by a tragic plane accident. One of my favorite songs by her was her hit single "The One I Gave My Heart To." The song is very touching and great from beginning to end.

A Few Good Men came and went with just one album, but they had a huge hit with the album's single "Have I Never." A loving slow jam, this track is a great way to say I love you.

This is a weird song by 7669, the R&B female quartet. Out in 1993, 7669's Joy has a new jack swing beat. However, the delivery is fairly soft, making the track a weird contrast. Still, it's an enjoyable song worth checking out.

7 Mile - Do Your Thing

7 Mile was signed to Mariah Carey's Crave label and was another R&B male vocal troop. The group had their biggest success in 1998 with their single "Do Your Thang." The track is about discovering your girl is cheating but being powerless to stop it. Instead, they let her do her thing because they love her.

4PM - Sukiyaki

Back to male R&B vocal groups, 4PM, standing for For Positive Music, came out in 1995 with this hit cover. The track was off the group's album, Now's The Time and peaked at #8 on the Hot 100. As a fun fact, the group's hit Sukiyaki was a cover of the song done by Kyu Sakamoto which has been a tremendous success, selling over 13 million copies worldwide since its 1961 debut.

4Kast - I Tried Music Video

Bringing the ladies onto the list, 4Kast came out in 1998 with their debut album, Any Weather. The album features the hip single "I Tried" which we've included today. Check it out and enjoy some female R&B music videos!

4.0 - Have A Little Mercy Music Video

4.0 came out in 1997 and was pretty low key. The group had production from Tony Rich and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. From their self-titled debut, "Have A Little Mercy" is a nice track showing off their vocals. The video's pretty cool and features the guys singing out in God knows where.

3T - I Need You Music Video

We're going to give you a little taste of the Jacksons today. But no, that's not the Jackson 5 we're talking about. We're going with 3T here! The song "I Need You" came out in 1996 on the group's Brotherhood album and was a big hit in Europe. Michael Jackson provides background vocals for the guys on this entertaining track.

3rd Storee - If Ever Music Video

If Ever was part of 3rd Storee's self-titled debut album in 1999. I'm still not sure if the album ever actually saw a release as it's impossible to find. It's interesting as listening to the guys, they sound REAL young on the track. However, on their second album, Get With Me, they've shown they've matured a lot.
